Lighting Rig

The assembled framework of truss, pipe, or structural supports from which lighting fixtures, A/V equipment, and related hardware are suspended within an exhibit space or event environment. Lighting rigs can be ground-supported, hung from the venue ceiling via rigging, or cantilevered from the exhibit structure itself. The design and engineering of a lighting rig must account for the total weight of all attached equipment, the load capacity of the support structure, and applicable show and venue regulations.
