Overtime Labor

Work performed by installation and dismantle crews beyond the standard straight-time hours defined by the applicable union contract or labor agreement at a given venue. Overtime labor is billed at a premium rate, typically 1.5 times the straight-time rate, with double time rates applying on certain days, holidays, or beyond specified hour thresholds. Managing the installation schedule to minimize overtime is one of the most impactful cost-control levers available to an exhibit supervisor and is achieved through accurate labor planning, efficient crew management, and timely freight delivery.
