A solid-state lighting technology that produces light by passing electrical current through a semiconductor material. LEDs are the dominant light source in modern exhibit and event environments due to their energy efficiency, long operational life, low heat output, and ability to produce a wide range of color temperatures and colors. They are used in virtually every exhibit lighting application including spotlights, lightboxes, video walls, backlighting, and architectural accent lighting.
