Truss

A structural framework composed of interconnected members arranged in triangular units to create a rigid, load-bearing system capable of spanning significant distances and supporting substantial overhead loads. In exhibit and event production, truss is used to construct lighting rigs, hanging sign support structures, overhead canopies, and scenic frameworks. Truss is available in a range of standard profiles and lengths, is typically fabricated from aluminum for its strength-to-weight ratio, and must be engineered to the specific load and span requirements of each application.
