The process of dismantling an exhibit structure, removing graphics, packing components into cases and crates, and preparing all materials for outbound shipment at the close of a trade show or event. Teardown is managed by the on-site supervisor and executed by the I&D crew within the move-out window established by show management. Also referred to as dismantle or breakdown.
