A manufacturing process in which a custom-shaped blade or tool is used to cut graphics, foam, vinyl, cardstock, or other flat materials into precise shapes. Die cutting is used in exhibit and event production for custom stickers, shaped signage, foam inserts, packaging, and dimensional graphic elements. The term also refers to the finished piece produced by this process.
