The process of dismantling an exhibit structure, packing components, and preparing materials for shipment at the close of a show. Breakdown, also called teardown or dismantle, follows a reverse sequence of the installation and must be completed within the move-out window specified by show management. Labor, crating, and outbound freight must all be coordinated in advance.
